FlashPoint Football started in a living room in 1977.
Back then, players weren’t passing points.
They were passing dollars.
Every person at the party brought twenty $1 bills. One dollar was marked with red hair — the original version of what is now the FlashPoint Game Ball.
To start the game, each player bought in. From there, every big moment could change who held the money and who controlled the game.
There were two ways to win:
Collect the most dollars throughout the game
Or hold the red-headed dollar at the end of a quarter and cash in from the kitty
The 4th quarter payout was always the biggest — and the chaos usually was too.
Over the years, people started taking the game into their own living rooms and adding their own twists.
Some turned it into a drinking game:
Hold the Game Ball at the end of the quarter? Take a shot.
Some split payouts between:
Highest score
Game Ball bonuses
Or both
Some house rules got competitive.
Some got ridiculous.
All of them made game day more fun.
That’s what we call Spiking Your Game.
FlashPoint is built to bring people together — but how you play is up to you.
So how do you Spike Your Game?
