FlashPoint Football turns every NFL matchup into a live competition by breaking the game into key moments and categories that unfold throughout the game.
Examples of categories include:
First Team to Score
Fumble Recovery
Interception
First Down — Rushing
First Down — Passing
Rushing Touchdown
Passing Touchdown
Field Goal
Sack
Accepted Penalty
Depending on the number of players in a room, each category will contain between 1–6 selections for each team.
Every play matters. Every moment can shift the standings.
Before kickoff, players take turns drafting categories until the board is full.
Draft order is randomly generated by the system.
Each player has 24 seconds to make a selection. If time expires, the system automatically makes a pick so the draft keeps moving.
Rooms support up to 24 players, and the draft board automatically adjusts based on room size.
Short on time? Turn on Auto Draft and FlashPoint Football will handle the picks for you.
Players cannot draft the same category more than once.
A player can draft First Down — Rushing and First Down — Passing
But cannot draft First Down — Rushing twice, even for different teams
This keeps the draft balanced and rewards players who can predict a variety of game moments.
Every category becomes a live head-to-head battle between two players — one backing each team.
Rams vs 49ers
If you drafted:
Rams — First Down Passing
And the Rams convert a passing first down:
You gain 1 point
Your opponent loses 1 point
If the opposing team wins the category, the scoring swings the other way.
Scores update live throughout the game.
At the start of the game, one player is randomly assigned the Game Ball.
The Game Ball changes hands whenever a player wins a category against the player holding it.
If you hold the Game Ball and your opponent wins a category against you:
They gain the point
They take the Game Ball
If the player you beat does not hold the Game Ball, you simply gain the point.
The Game Ball is always in play — and always one big moment away from changing hands.
The player holding the Game Ball at the end of each quarter earns bonus points:
Quarter
Bonus
End of 1st Quarter
+2 Points
End of 2nd Quarter
+2 Points
End of 3rd Quarter
+2 Points
End of 4th Quarter
+2 Points
At the start of each quarter, the system randomly assigns the Game Ball to a new player.
No bonus points are awarded for starting with the Game Ball — only for holding it at the end of the quarter.
Points accumulate throughout the game as players win categories and earn Game Ball bonuses.
When the final whistle blows, the player with the highest score wins the room — and the bragging rights until next kickoff.
