FlashPoint Football started long before apps, logins, or second screens.
It started as a party.
Back in 1977, our creator, Dennis Ranahan, created a football game for one simple reason: make Super Bowl Sunday more fun.
So he made a game.
A game where every play mattered.
Where people argued, celebrated, stole points, and somehow got louder with every quarter.
And then he did something even more important.
He hosted.
Every year.
What started as a party game quickly became a tradition.
Same energy. Same chaos. Same group growing bigger as friends brought friends, who brought more friends.
You didn’t need to be a football expert.
You just needed to pick your moments and enjoy the ride.
For over 40 years, the game lived in Dennis’s living room.
On paper. In notebooks. On handwritten poster boards.
Then came 2021.
When people couldn’t gather the same way, the game had to evolve.
So it did.
FlashPoint Football moved online and brought the chaos with it, the same competitive, social energy in a new form.
And somewhere along the way, it clicked.
This wasn’t just a tradition anymore.
It was too fun to keep to ourselves.
It was time to share it.
FlashPoint Football is built for fans who want more from game day.
More competition.
More moments with friends.
More reasons to celebrate every single play.
Because in football, everything can change in a flash.
